With Playboy Special Editions Cover model Amy Lynn Grover

Rockstar Energy Drinks Sarah Scotford
It it was that time again. You know, that time where you get an itchin to fly
off somewhere exotic, somewhere hot, somewhere inspirational. The only problem
was I hadn't decided were or with who I was going to go.
I had just recently worked with
Amy Lynn Grover
shooting a catalogue for
The Mayra
Collection. I really liked her look and thought she'd be an awesome
candidate to go. What's more, we had shot a test for Playboy and wouldn't you
know it, not only did they take the series, they gave her the cover below!
Not bad for a test, huh? If you want to see the rest of the spread you'll have
to pick up a copy yourself - It's worth it, believe me, I was there.
I was actually planning on going with just Amy and Lori. I wanted to keep it
small and intimate. It was really a last minute decision to call
Sarah Scotford to
see if she'd go. I was expecting her to decline as she's got a great job
working in marketing for what I think to be a kick ass company;
Rockstar Energy
Drink.
Yeah, I know, that was shameless plug on my part but I really would love to
shoot for them so why not.
Moving on...
I was super excited when not only did Sarah agree to go, she got on the phone
and booked her ticket herself. WOW, was I ever impressed... Not so much when I
got the bill, but still thrilled to death to have her nonetheless.
I called Mayra of the Mayra Collection to tell her I was going and before I
could even get the words out of my mouth she asked, "How many bikinis do
you need?". Weeeee was I ever having a good day.
I decided to mix things up a bit by including the candid shots along with the
final 'finished' images. I decided to do this one afternoon as I was showing
all the pics to a few friends and everyone mentioned they enjoyed the behind
the scenes pics as much if not more! That and the fact I don't have all that
many images left I can use as all the magazines I shoot for took a large
majority. Seriously, I took over 5000 pictures this trip.
All things said and done, the trip turned out to be a huge success. What's more
I have tones of videos coming soon, including this one of all of us having way
too much to drink one night at a karaoke bar.
Take note that Lori shot most of it as well as singing the lead
roll off camera.
