| 2004 07 20 - One Upping the Powers That Be Not five minutes after finishing my last journal entry I received a call from my agent telling me that I am on hold for a commercial. I guess I should have written about this whole thing as it was happening but I was too busy trying to coordinate my shoot for today. So here's the deal; Last week I went to an audition for a project called Toy Truck. When I entered the room they asked that I play with a dump truck like a big kid. To which I responded, "You mean just pretend the camera isn't rolling?" Everyone laughed at this. Paul Buceta has entered the building. *** Yesterday afternoon I got called back to audition again for the same commercial, only this time I was going to be playing the dad and auditioning with a kid. Like hell if I was going to let the kid steal my thunder, I grabbed the truck and showed him how it's done!  Click image to see the reenactment. And as I had started mentioning earlier I received a call just now telling me that I am on hold. For all you lay people out there, this basically means they are VERY seriously considering me.
