I was in Las Vegas for the Olympia in September, and while there I managed to squeeze in a shoot for American Curves with the amazing Larissa Reis.
I had actually met Larissa at the Olympia two years ago in the lobby. I was leaving the expo and stopped dead in my tracks at the sight of her. There stood this spectacularly sculpted specimen highlighted by a low sun coming in through the glass entrance way. She was like a muscular angel. Hehe…
Anyhow, I approached her, which is something I almost never do as I need a model or another shoot in my schedule like a hole in the head but couldn’t stop myself. I must have looked like such an amateur handing her my card and asking if I could take her pic. Judging by the fact I never heard from her, I guess that’s exactly what I looked like.
Fast forward two years and I bump into her at the pool at Rehab – I’m actually surprised I even remember anything,being in under three hours I had completely lost consciousness. But that’s a story for another day.
Anyhow, to my surprise, she recognized me and told me SHE wanted to work with ME. I felt redeemd and jumped all over her… errr the opportunity that is.
She called me the next day and we had a shoot booked.

She was sooo worth the wait. With her brazilian accent, her stunning good looks, her crazy hard body and her constant flirting made it all worth while (All right, she didn’t flirt at all but 3 out of 4 ain’t bad at all… at all). As you can see from the picture above, one of the looks we went after was totally edgy, only using an on camera flash. It’s one of my favorite sets of the year.
