2003 03 02 - David, Goliath, Trends and Turltes

As many of you know I am a fan of boxing.
Over the last couple of weeks I've seen a trend developing that goes against the thread of common belief; Big guys beat little guys.
Last week Mike Tyson beat a much larger opponent in 49 seconds with a knock out. Last night Roy Jones Jr. moved up to the heavy weight division to fight a much larger opponent for the title - And won! What is the relevance here? Well, I've been talking with Toughman about getting onto one of their fight cards. They are very interested and have agreed it's not a question of if but when.
This new trend is inspirational to me because there are two weight categories 160 to 185 and 186 to 400. As it stands, I normally weigh about 156 and have had to bulk up just to make weight.
I will obviously be fighting much larger and heavier opponents so the current David and Goliath trend in boxing helps me to sleep at night.

Here's another David and Goliath story / update.
The Turtles are restless.
It's been a couple of days since I made my request to Travis, and have not received word back.
I called him last night and left a message with his girlfriend who told me he would be in shortly and that he'd call me back - To this moment I have not heard from him.

HMMMMMMM, is there another trend developing here?
