An On-Line Journal
by Paul Buceta

2003 03 06 - Paul and the City

I'm reminded of Sarah Jessica Parker Broderick (only with less names) in her role in Sex and the City every time I sit down at the computer to write my journal.

Could you imagine this mug on the side of a bus?

(Picture taken in 1997)

Most of the time I open my MS Word document with no idea of what I'm going to write.
It's interesting to see where my thoughts will lead me as I type my first sentence.
For example, right now, I find I have absolutely nothing to say about Sex and the City and I find myself remembering an email humour-ism I received today that went something like,
"This isn't an office, it's Hell with fluorescent lighting".

I stop typing and think of what else I should be doing when another random thought hits; Jodi Valdes sent me an email about her upcoming trip to Vegas this weekend and mentioned that she would make an excellent Turtle. I thought to myself how ironic it would be if someone I invited to my journal became a Turtle before me!

My next random thought is based around a Russian friend of mine that I would really love to photograph. She is quite exquisite looking and carries herself with the poise of a Czar - She also has the greatest Russian accent.
I know she reads this can't help chuckling at the thought of her blushing right now!
A special message to her: No matter what, you'll always have 'The Shoe'.

I have a question. Has anyone found this site by surfing the net?
PLEASE let me know if you have.
I'm guessing most people have found me by way of invitation or referral from a friend.

Well, that's it for my random thoughts for now - All you Freudians can put your pens down, today's session is over.
