An On-Line Journal

I went out last night to a friend's birthday party.

I was kind of surprised when I got the invitation.
My surprise soon turned to curiosity. You see my friend has lived in Toronto for just over a year now and had no friends upon her arrival.
I was interested to see what kind of friends she's made in a years time.

I'm not sure if I was surprised or not by the people that came.
There wasn't a lot of diversity.

This led me to wonder what type of people I would end up having at my party.
Based on my widely divergent group of friends, I would definitely have an eclectic mix.
(For the record, I don't like to have parties).

I just realized that I would probably have to throw two parties for my friends.
Not liking to mix my friends, I would have separate parties for my cerebral friends and 'cool' friends.

Anyhow, I had brought my camera along to the party last night.

Paul and Tanya

Here I am with a friend who was good enough to join me at the party.

I think the only reason she came with me was to get another picture of herself in my journal.
