2003 12 23 - I Swear I Didn't Pee in The Pool

I woke up today and decided to try something different.
I checked out the newspapers to see what's going on around town, but found nothing of much interest.
I went on-line to see if I could find something there, and again no luck.

Walking around the house I happened to look out at the snow covered pool when it hit me.
I want to go swimming.

I got my shorts and towel together and off I went to find an open pool.

Unfortunately, pools aren't like libraries.
They're not open 'whenever'.

Luckily, I stumbled across a community centre that was open - woo hoo!

As luck would have it, it was a family pool.
No deep end.

After all my efforts I wasn't about to get changed back into my clothes without first sampling the sweet taste of chlorine and urine.

The day wasn't a total loss tho.
They had a hot water jaccuzzi on premise.

I spent most of my time just relaxing and daydreaming as the tiny jets and bubbles worked their magic.
"This is the life".

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to bring my camera - The thought of it was creepy.
Seriously, wouldn't you feel weird bringing a camera into a change room?

Here's one from this past summer.

I'm trying to think of something witty to say here but am distracted by the soft 'gushy' sounds my prunned fingers make as I type.
