An On-Line Journal

2003 03 13 - The adventures of a mal-adjusted, well-intentioned blogger.

I wrapped up work today and thought I'd stop by the R.O.M.
(The Royal Ontario Museum).
There are some lovely things to see if you have the time and inclination.
I particularly liked the Egyptian exhibit.
To this day, I still hold a child-like amazement over their architectural feats.
There are many theories of extra-terrestrial intervention, which I think adds to the whole mystique.
Imagine what would happen to today's religions, politics, and social beliefs if we were to be visited by aliens. Things of material value would seem so petty by comparison.

There was also another exhibit that I should mention: The reptiles.
Here I am with a couple of familiar ones;

You're probably wondering if you left the stove on…. But wait! Don't Go.

There's a reason why I bring the Turtles in to yet another journal.
I have been invited to join them for a card game this Saturday night.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it as I have a prior engagement with Mr. Mango.
(His status has still not changed).

I'm sure that if I go I'll be the center of controversy. I'm probably being set up to play against a professional.
I might just show up, place my cash on the floor outside the door, knock and make a run for it.
