I agreed to do a quick test with a model today for a couple of magazines I work for. I don’t usually work on weekends as I have a bunch of personal commitments to get to but I really wanted to work with this girl for some time now.
Sandra drove in the night before to be ready for our shoot first think in the morning as I only had a couple of hours available. She lives about 6 hours away!!
When she originally told me of how long her drive would be, I almost told her not to come down. Seriously, she would have to drive a total of 12 hours for only a couple of hours with me, and no promises of being published. I felt like I was asking waaaay too much. What’s more, I have a hard time accepting I’m worth it, (A few ex’s would agree).
So back to Sandra-Ann – She was awesome! As soon as she took her spot and I took the 1st picture, I knew we had a winner. She knows how to seduce the lens alright.
I wish she lived closer – Papa like.
I feel pretty confident I’ll be working with her again for one publication or another.
Lets all cross our fingers and wish her the best of luck – Not that she needs it.
